Woman Shot In North Philadelphia Home: Police

A 49-year-old woman was shot once in the stomach in the living room of a Philadelphia residence Monday night, April 22, according to police.

Investigators said it happened on the 100 block of Linton Street in Olney around 7:40 p.m. The victim was taken to Einstein Hospital in critical condition, authorities said.

One person was detained in connection with the shooting and a weapon was recovered, PPD added.
